Happy Friday Friends!
I feel like I start my blogs with “Happy ____” every time. Starting blogs is honestly the most awkward thing ever. But here I am, it’s fine.
I wanted to talk to you today about how to create a cohesive photo wall. Back in late December I teamed up with Poster Store to showcase some of their amazing prints and give you all a 30% discount code on frames, pictures etc.
Creating a cohesive picture wall doesn’t have to be hard. I like to pick photos that are In the same color groups or that pull colors from each other.

For my picture wall the first photo I picked with this surf board photo. I then picked other photos that blended well with that photo.
Pampas grass, flowers, an abstract painting, a picture of coral.

I then like to pair my decor with the art in the room as well. For me, it was easy as most of my art is light, bright and creams and whites.

I always love to put my art on picture ledges so I can layer and change them out frequently. If wanting to see how we built this picture ledge, click here.

I also love stacking it on our fireplace mantle too. Over Christmas we had some abstract pictures on our fireplace and then I changed them out for this coral picture.

I think the part that is most fun is mixing different styles together. I have photographs, painting and abstract art all mixed in this room and it all blends so perfectly together.
