I don’t know about you, but how is Easter almost here? I’m still in disbelief that 2020 ended and having a hard time adjusting to the fact that a quarter of the year is almost over. Today I wanted to show you how I made our simple Easter tablescape.
You can make this with anything you have on hand. We used faux florals from A-Floral and some cute distressed canisters as our centrepieces. But if you live in an area with flowers and stems already blooming, you can absolutely go foraging for your table decor.
Typically when I decorate our table for the Holidays I like to go freestyle. I decorate in odd numbers and keep it very whimsical.
For this simple easter tables cape I wanted to incorporate some pinks and greenery as well, a pop of gold.
I also put one easter touch on the table, can you spot it?
If you spotted the wooden eggs, you were correct. After I styled and shot the entire room I forgot to put the star of the show on the table – these adorable wooden eggs. I actually use these all year round in my kitchen decor and they just happen to make really cute Easter decor as well!
As you can see from my styling, I like a really cozy and relaxed tablescape. I don’t really iron our tablecloth or napkins, and I like to load our built-in seating up with cozy pillows.
I’m not sure if you can see the print on the pillows but it’s this super low key floral print with soft yellows and beiges. So perfect for an Easter tablescape. We like to be cozy in our home, folks!
So how can you make a simple Easter tablescape?

- Stack varying plates
- Go thrifting for antique glassware
- Add layers of coziness; candles, blankets, pillows and a table runner
