If you guys have been here for any length of time, you know I love to thrift! This year I decided to decorate our home for Christmas with a different approach: Thrift, Vintage and DIY. Here are Six Christmas Items To Thrift
Six Christmas Items To Thrift
I thrifted these old skates for five dollars and they are the main Christmas decor in our entrance. If you’re nervous about the sharp tips you can run a bead of silicone on the bottom of the skates.
2. Ceramic Houses
I always loved the look of Christmas villages growing up, except they’re pretty tacky. I thrifted the three houses you see for a total of seven dollars and then spray painted them!
3. Vintage Art
Vintage art is a great way to decorate for Christmas even if it doesn’t feel Christmasy’. It can add a lived-in and cozy vibe.
4. Nativity Scene
I picked up this retro nativity scene and spray painted it cream. Now it feels brand new and it is a meaningful set that I will use for years to come
5. Old Quilts
I don’t know about you, but quilts can cozy up a space and make it feel Holiday themed. I found this vintage quilt at a garage sale and I’ve used it in my decor for the last eight years
6. Brass Candlesticks
Vintage candlesticks can add a little glam to your decor. I thrifted third candlesticks for 75 cents each and they totally cozy up our coffee table decor.
