May and the first few weeks of June have been a whirlwind. With our house going up for sale and being sold 5 days after finding out it was going to be sold, with contracts, travelling to Tofino twice, a really exciting Kia contract and then as of late, travelling to the Mainland for work, we’re finally slowing down a bit.
We’ve come to terms with our home being sold, and we’re really thankful that we get to stay until September, and the new buyers have actually bought some of the upgrades we put in the home.
We’re most likely looking at staying in an Airbnb until we purchase early next year as we do not want to sign a lease. I get that so many don’t understand why It’s a big deal to sign another year lease on a rental.. but with having to file bankruptcy 5 years ago and having all our dreams fall apart, it’s been a waiting game. We’re tired of waiting. Signing a lease on another home is the most depressing option, so we’re being creative and looking for something temporary!
We’ve been keeping busy working with some incredible brands, and I also decided to become a Seint Artist in March and not only have sailed through the ranks, but last month I sold the most in the entire company. It was insane, and I’m so honoured that so many trust me when I say that there is nothing else like this makeup!
If you know me AT ALL, you know that pretty much since I started having kids 11 years ago, I spent 90% of my time in pyjamas or lounge pants, and I maybe wore makeup a few times a month.
I found this makeup last September, and it’s really changed my love for makeup. It’s so light, so it feels like you’re not wearing anything. It’s insanely pigmented and, best yet – clean! I become so obsessed that I broke every rule in my own book and become an Artist in March and haven’t looked back.

We also potty trained Rhett in the middle of everything that was going on in the last month. Okay… I should say Glen did. He was the one that started it, as I had kind of given up on getting him to pee on the potty. Glen wins this one!
One of the biggest questions with our upcoming move is
“What are you going to do with your greenhouse?”
Sadly, the new owners did not purchase it, so we’re trying to figure out a way to move in. Glen doesn’t want to take it apart because then it will probably never be put back together.
All in all, although things are pretty up in the air and we don’t have any idea what the future holds, we’re grateful.
Trying to soak up every second with our kids this summer in our home, and the Fall will look a lot different than it has in previous years.
Thank you for sticking around and loving on our family.
